The final edition for 2022. In this addition we ask for your feedback on our consultation about Recognition of UK PLAB licentiate examination for registration of IMG’s. There are several pathways available to IMGs to obtain registration. Each pathway identifies specific criteria a doctor must satisfy to be eligible to apply for registration. We are consulting on two pathways.

The End of Life Choice Act 2019 (the Act), comes into effect at midnight on 7 November 2021. In response, Council has prepared a resource document to assist doctors as they seek to understand and apply some of the key provisions in the Act.
